Don't Forget the Centennial

While the 2006 AALL Annual Meeting will, as usual, be chock full of educational programs focused on helping us maintain and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be outstanding twenty-first century law librarians, I hope that everyone will keep in mind that we also will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of our Association. To learn more about AALL's history and the activities planned for St. Louis, don't forget to frequently visit the AALL Centennial Website maintained by the AALL Centennial Celebration Committee. It includes information about upcoming events and activities, links to articles about AALL history, a list of chapter and SIS histories, and a FAQ section that, among other things, responds to the question, "if AALL is celebrating its one-hundredth anniversary in 2006, why is the Annual Meeting in St. Louis the ninety-ninth meeting?"
